Week 8 - Matariki Celebration

Kia Ora,

We have a new teacher aide that spends the morning in Room 10, her name is Jane and she is already part of our whanau and has endless patience and smiles.

Room 10 have been having a great time learning about Matariki this week.  They produced some writing outlining the meaning of Matariki and the symbolism of the Maori New Year. They have also taken part in a variety of different activities.

We have our Inquiry Expo next Wednesday from 2 to 4pm.  We hope you can make it in to class to check out what your child has been learning about this term.

We have two more Thursday swimming sessions and then a swimming sports at Tawa Pool in Week 10.  We also have our final assembly for the term next week on Friday at 2.20pm.

Reports and Student Profiles will go home in Week 10.  Check out the photos.
