Week 5
Talofa lava,
This week we have been celebrating Samoan Language Week and today we celebrated Samoan Independence Day.
The students have been involved in different activities centered around Samoan language, geography and climate. They have also been writing about themselves and their own culture and family traditions.
Swimming is going well and the instructors report that the students swimming skills are improving. Today we farewelled Hana Bridge who is moving to Trentham and welcomed a new student Jasmeena.
School is closed tomorrow and on Monday. We look forward to seeing students back on Tuesday rested and refreshed. Check out our photos of Investigation time, Sunshine team students at Cross Country and the new allocation of clean up jobs in Room 10.
Happy long weekend.
